Mixed Methods Survey of Licensed Acupuncturists

The research group listed below is conducting a study to investigate the approach that acupuncturists are using in prescribing Chinese herbs for patients that had symptoms that may be related to COVID-19. (https://www.teamcovidstudy.com)

They invite all acupuncturists who are prescribing herbs to patients that have symptoms that may be related to COVID-19 to participate in the study.

The study has two parts – an anonymous quantitative survey that will take approximately 15-30 minutes to complete, and a qualitative interview with an experienced interviewer hired by the research team that will take approximately 45 minutes.

Interviews will be audio recorded, and then transcribed. All names and personal references to the interviewee’s identity will be removed during transcription. Analysis will be undertaken on the deidentified transcribed interviews.

Participants can participate in one or both of these parts of the study.

The survey is online and can be accessed via this link: Link to survey

SURVEY DEADLINE: JULY 15, 2021

The interviews will be conducted via Zoom. If you are interested in participating in an interview, please contact the principal investigator – Dr. Belinda (Beau) Anderson [email protected].
